’32 Auburn & Stewart Warner

Another awesome item from my favorite seller!  This original ’32 Auburn gauge cluster has been narrowed and measures 13.5 inches wide by 6.5 inches tall.  It houses Stewart Warner gauges…oil pressure, tach, and temp all in working order with curved glass.  This set-up would look so badass in a roadster or a chopped and channeled coupe!  But I think it would look best in my ’29 sedan!

’35 Artillery Wheels

These sexy 12-slots are in beautiful shape and begging to be mounted to a badass hot rod!  Very minimal rust according to the seller.  This set of 4 measures 16×4.5 with a 5×5 bolt pattern.  I have to say this seller always has the best stuff on ebay!  Where does he get it all?!

’29 Roadster Project

A nice hot rod in the making!  This roadster hails from CA, comes with a clear title, and sits on a stock frame.  The engine is original as well but has a new water pump…and it runs!  This body looks to be in decent shape…it has patch panels on the rear quarters and there are some pin holes on the drivers side rear quarter that will need to be patched up.   The windshield is chopped 2 inches, the doors are re-skinned with Brookville panels, and the deck lid is rumble seat ready.  ’40 Ford 16×4′s all around with new tires.  This is a bitchin’ project that I wish was sittin’ in my garage!

Sorry dad…no trades!

’32 Grille Shell

After seeing the badass ’29 Sedan Delivery featured in the June 2011 Rod & Custom (page 20) I have been heavily considering using a deuce grille shell for my ’29.  I could never afford an original but possibly a reproduction can fit into the budget.  This new grille shell and insert also includes the rubber shell lacing.  I would love to get some opinions….stick with the ’29 grille shell or go with a ’32?

’30 Model A Tudor Body (Well Partial Body Really)

With a buy it now price of $250 it’s hard to ignore this partial ’30 Tudor Sedan body.  It’s a great parts car if your in the market for some body panels or it could be the beginning of something more.  The body has been braced with wood so it’s ready for transport to your garage.

I’ve seen worse go for more…then again I’m sure we all have.

DeSoto Valve Covers

I like these nifty DeSoto Valve covers off a ’55 291 Hemi dressed in pretty red paint.  Below the valve cover picture I included a cool ’55 DeSoto ad that I found online.

’34 Ford Pickup

Now that the snow is almost completely melted and the thermometer needle keeps creeping upward, the only things I can think about are going to swap meets to scope out all the project cars for sale and seeing online listings from guys doing their garage “spring cleaning”.  This ’34 pickup project is looking well on it’s way to being a real nice hot rod.   The patch panels have been roughed in and the frame is boxed.  This baby comes with a ’61 vette 283, Turbo 350 and several parts which are pictured in the listing.  These parts include a nice grille shell, front fenders (one of which is dented), and Dolphin gauges.  Other parts include a Posies reversed-eye slider front spring with a 2 inch drop, ’37-’41 spindles and complete drums, as well as some nice Cokers (also pictured).  Click on the picture below to read the full of list of included parts and to see more pics.

Ford Model A Chassis

I like how the seller described this as a “beautiful disaster”…that couldn’t be more true.  He is unsure of the year but judging from the shape of the gauge cluster area and the straight lines where the cowl’s would be I’d say it’s a ’30-’31.  Dragged out from behind a barn, surface rust and pitting are the major symptoms of being exposed to the elements for who-knows how many years.  Looking at pics, the hood sides and top are in decent shape and the frame isn’t too bad either.  This has nice spring/summer project written all over it.

’30 Five Window Coupe

Now this is a sexy hot rod with all the right proportions!  This five inch chopped coupe sits on a Z’d frame with ’40 Ford breaks, and a 5 inch dropped magnum axel.  New interior, new paint, rebuilt motor, and Staurt Warner gauges are just some of the goodies this rod has.  The body sits nicely over the frame and the wire wheels are sweet as hell.  I love the wide whites.  Click on the pic below for more details and more photo’s.

’35 Ford Wire Wheels

I love this beautiful set of 16 inch wire wheels off of a ’35 Ford.  They are in great shape and are perfect for a hot rod or restoration project.  According to the seller these wheels have been sand-blasted and shot with a coat of glossy Antique White.  One of the wheels appears to have a few scuffs but nothing major.  The Wheel Smith sure makes nice wheels but there’s nothing like the originals!
